Here it is. I pulled it out of the bush up at Sprent. I dont know what the engine or gearbox is like, but at least it is a start on my big block conversion (1.0litre to 1.4litre).

Hey Wombat might have something of interest to u E15 pulsar carbie engine and 5 speed was in good condition before accident will need a water pump and has broken two mounts off the gearbox but mount will still bolt up as one of the three bolts was missing prior to smash also have broken bits so a weld on is possible it has a complete exhaust to suit n12 and radiator with electric fan and we can do a deal with those 15in wheels if u r interested just a thought

Tom: She is sick of going out for tea. Now I have to buy house hold items to get back in the good books.
Boost: Yeah all my cherrys are FWD. I will have to pass on the E15 would be nice but it wont fit in my car. The N10 had a bigger engine bay than the E10 thats why you can fit the E series motors in the N10.
The gear box set up is different to. The A series engine have the gear box under the sump and the E series have them on the end of the motor.
The N10 is now stripped in my drive way and waiting to be taken to the tip. All the running gear is out and will be checked out in the next couple of days.

Cool m8 Just a thought as it was sitting there doing nothing sounds like u have it all worked out I didn't even know what a cherry was until u posted the picks of yours do u need to mod the car to fit the a series or is that a straight bolt in?

there will be a little stuffing around changing engine mounts (different mounting points on the N10) and getting the gear shift to mount up. but thats the fun of doing a engine change.
The Cherry came out with the A series fitted only with the A10 and A12 engine size.

Not really. I have been fiddling with the A14 changing a few bits and pieces and just checking if its still ok. the engine turns over by hand but doesnt seem to have alot of compression.
I have trail fitted the rear suspension out of the N10 and it fits into my car. I have a new set of Monroe shocks from an N10 that will soon be going into the Coupe.
I have also been measuring up the enigne bay (to much time on my hands) as the silly idea's modification bug has hit again.
If money wasnt a problem and I had the skills.
1. I would like to fit a rotary (10a, 12a Non turbo) in one of the cars but leave the car FWD.
2. turn one of the cars into an AWD using subaru running gear( I even roughly measured up the forester engine bay).
Can one of you guys tell me what the rear track on a 120y or 1200 measures??
Also does anyone have a set of flares the wouldnt mind lending to me for a little bit. I just want to see what I would need to do to fit those 15"mags under one of the cars.

Quick update. Brought a heap of engine goodies of Datrat Dave and will be building up a good A15 (out of vanette in rosebery) to put in Greeny. Greeny also has a new set of wheels. I will just have to run some serious flares on the car now.
