Ok people - select an option, I'm going in the middle and selecting Saturday 31 July - I think this gives everyone enough time clear or lock dates in diaries. Once a date has been finalised we'll work out times etc Cheers Steph

It looks as if the northerners are outnumbered - so i'm pretty confident it will be a Southern meetup or at least closer to Hobart way.

seeing as tho us northerners are bit to far away to travel, plus its my birthday.....
i suggest we have a get together the following weekend, there is a come die rally in the bakers beach area , i will be competing perhaps we could get few more from here to official/compete/or just greet.
will post more details to upcoming events shortly.

Its a come and try rally for novices.Basically a standard car but with certain safety equipment. its to let people see if they are interested in doing rallying. give them a taste before spending big dollars on there cars.

date = 31st
location = unsure. suggestions? what was that place call tom? the road to nowhere?
time = something reasonable, 12? could have a barbie somewhere in an aussie fashion.
crusie? if people are keen. we could meet somewhere, show of cars, travel to bbq place for lunch and then i dunno.
suggestions people!

Yeah risdon brook sounds good. Water works good also less parking, but huts if it rains. Drew point at margate also ok. Not fussy though. Only 8 votes/keen punters for this date? Come on guys show some interest! Maybe some faulse advertising is the answer?
Bands,strippers,jumping castle for the kids,lucky door prize of a fully restored 1600sss!(conditions apply please read small print)..... And more!
Small print> As if!

yes trust me im a scientist!! ;D
Risdon brook dam is on the eastern shore, just south of the Bowen bridge, and near the prison. should be easy to find on google maps ect even on maps made of paper. it has shelters, bbqs, and a large carpark. everything we need.
