thanks, i have thought about that one but it is actually too big! There's no way you can fit the intercooler pipes around that without more cutting to the body which i want to minimise as much as possible.
I was in Autocraft today an saw a really nice SI 1600 getting work done on it, anyone know who's it is? it looked the goods.

O.k O.k so its been a while between posts for me, and progress on the car really, but things are starting to heat up. So to pick up where i left off, intercooler and radiator have been sorted, mounts made. holes cut etc. (see pics below) and the car has now gone off to paint! intercooler (radiator behind) Radiator Fitted the DS steering box brace and that was about all i had left to do. Since the car is now away from home, i have more time for the sr. Here's a pic of the standard turbo on it and the practically new s15 turbo sitting in its place. I have also CHOSEN THE COLOUR and bought various parts for the sr . THE COLOUR!!!!! (photo isn't great) NOW, i need your help fellas, since taking the LHS back to bare metal there has been some butchering done to the sill from the start of the rear door up to where the rear quarter guard starts around the wheel arch. If ANYONE has an old recked shell with this area still in good nick or happens to just have this section available then plz pm me the details and i'll come check it out. The sooner this gets sorted the sooner my car gets painted! Also if anyone has a front left guard in good cond. then i would be interested in this also. Thanks guys

Yeh trackspec, datsport fitting and handling kit. Makes the whole conversion process a lot easier, good quality stuff and your upgrading all the front end components along the way.

Heard good things about them, a mate has one in his car, i've thought about it but don't know yet, not bad vaule when u get the bushes, sway bar etc with it
same turbo thats on my ca, doesn't seem to be too bad, no lag, but needs a tune really badly runs out of fuel pretty quick

Hey guys, still looking for a lhs rear dog leg if anyone knows of one....
running out of options.
also good lhs front guard, will pay good money for the right parts.
cheers guys.
trackspec:
yeh i managed to get this turbo for a good price, we'll see how it goes to start with. I wanna be able to appreciate the difference between a t28 and a gt2871r if i decide to go down that bigger/better track. If tuned correctly then can't see why it wuldn't be pretty decent set-up fuel efficiency wise. And as for datsports stuff - definately recommend if youve got the $$$. quality manufactured components. and good blokes too!

I'm advertising on ozdat as well to try and see if anything comes up. heres a pic of it If any of you know of anything suitable please message me.. its killing me not to be able to get anywhere at the moment.Bought a new oil pickup tube and installed that along with one of those greddy knock off sumps and installed a exedy hd clutch as well. In the next few days i'll put on the new crank pulley and the belt and then not sure after that (there will always be something though)
