Nice collection you've had there. How's your motorsport budget now that Camel and Marlbro can't sponsor you with the ban on tobacco company sponsorship

I scanned some more photo's..... This is the original Blue rat in 1992...all 35rwkw's of it!! I sold it and it was turned into a rally car, and rolled on its first event.... Here's how we found the current race car, in a chook shed in Roseberry!! Thanks Wombat. This is an in car shot at Symmon's, I'm about to carve up Nev...not! The 'Set up'.......

Thanks Scando, The photo's make it look better than it was! The Incar shots were done with a suction cup camera mount stuck to the inside roof, no hoodlining!, a 20mm lens and a 125th shutter speed to look like we were going quick...It was taken on the 'family' lap's at the start of the day.

Ha, ha yep it's a bwedy!! Yes the good old day's....Sonia was pretty fast in the Mini competing in Motokhana's....And your not allowed to mention the Escort on these fine Datsun Pages!! Dont tell Boost, he will never talk to me again!! Sonia just told me the 'Top Gun' look is back again, all the grade nine boys have the mirror glasses. I have a great photo of us lined up in front of the Rat at the start of one Hellyer Rally, only I look like I've stepped out of a computer convention (Commodore 64!)

I have a copy some where of the mighty Rat's TV debut in said Hellyer Rally. The formidable crew of Bluerat & 2Door busy doing what they do best 'looking good' and 'posing' for the cameras at the start and then 'Circle work' at Oldina!!!. I don't know where to start looking but when i find it, it will be a joy'ess day. ;D

This was my road car for a few years.... Until I fitted the good engine and suspension out of the red and white shell..... She scored a few scars after that!!

Yeah, I'm very happy with them , although not as happy as you Tommy by the sounds of it. They are an Uncle Kelv, import special. The great thing is, due to the different offset, I dont need the 10mm spacers like I did with the Superlites, and they are 6.5 inch not six's. They weigh 3kg's each less than the Superlites (or is that Superheavy??)...You can be lucky sometimes.

I'll second that. A set of those with black centres would look pretty tough on the Z with that big chrome lip 3kg per wheel lighter is nice too. I could never really understand why superlites are called superlites cause they're damn heavy!

Funny story with the tyre warming, I did drivers breifing and the Steward asked me to tell everyone that it's not Summenats, and not to do big burn outs on the bridge....I just got carried away!
Tom, a Car'own'a I could be tempted.....nah, sorry. The BBS's maybe??
