;D Hey guys went out for a kayak the other day and bounced my battery out of place on the gravel shorting the positive against the side of the engine bay (burnt a tidy hole). Basic run down: L18 in a manual 180b. Blue bird electric dizzy Aftermarket coil standard carby symptoms include: Engine wont turn over Lights and horn work Battery reads 12v All fuses are a ok Melted battery to chassy ground No indicators Hazard lights ok Since then I have: Replaced the – battery lead and ground. Replaced the ignition switch. Screwed the solenoid playing silly buggers. The starter turns ok when its terminals are crossed just wont engage anymore. Its got no spark when engine is turned manually so I connected a multimeter to the low tension wires at the bottom of the coil with ignition turned on and got nothing. What do you guys suggest? What more do you need to know?

Solved!!
A lot of tracking back got me the little burnt out bastard. Shes running like crap but but i think that is more to do with all the shaking blowing the manifold gasket yet again. Theres water coming out the ass which is a bit disconcerting. Next job: extractor upgrade! (im over blowing gaskets time to strap it up) Does any one have something like this laying about to suit a 4 door 180b?
Thanks for the read
