Gday, I want to put some lowered king springs in the front of my 120 wagon but I heard somewhere that they're still too heavy duty and the car is too light with the stock motor to go down as much as i want it to (around two inches, maybe more) has anyone had this problem or is it a myth? or is there a better option for springs? cheers Zak.

Kings with 1 coil cut off would do the trick.

Myth I say.
I just lowered my 1200 2ish inches and didn't use kings. Theyre a waste of money if you ask me. Use rear bluebird or 200b springs cut down. Lowered kings always need to be cut anyway.
Best thing to do with the Y is to fit 1200 strut. They sit about an inch lower on the Y I've been told so once you go lower you have more travel.
Your in Hobart yeah? Would love to see your wagon sometime and I've got a spare set of rear springs at home if your interested

Thanks for the advice. Yeah I've got the stock springs cut down and it bottoms out on everything although the inserts are rooted so that would be a factor. and i don't want to spend 150 odd dollars on kings then have to cut them. yeah ill have the wagon out and about again soon, the body is really bad atm. J how much would you want for those springs? cheers Zak.
