Hey all, just having some trouble getting my datto to run well will the weber carb. probably a jetting problem. i've got:
Fuel: 120/140- (might go up to 145) Air correctors: 175/145 idle jets: 50/55 Emulsion: F66
Runs well in the high revs, idle is ok Although I'm having a really bad flat spot in the 2000/2500rpm range, hard to get it off the line. Just wondering if going up a size or two in the primary fuel jet would solve this. I've also checked and cleaned the accelerator pump, diaphragms good and pump jet all seem to be ok. It's also running quite rich atm. Any tips would be much appreciated. Cheers. Zak.

you have a lot of air in the primary, id be going up in fuel and down on air. a lot of stock A12s seem to like 140/145 in both barrels.
there is a lot of jetting info out there on the web, but you can cock around with the jetting, emulsion, venturis ect on these till the cows come home.
A mate of mine is always pulling his apart!

Cheers man. yeah i've got it running better now turns out the base plate of the carb was warped so there was a massive vacuum leak so i filed it flat. also lack of air filter atm might affect it. yeah i reckon i've had it apart bout 10 times so far.
