OK southerners lets see if we can get something off the ground down here in Cascade territory. does anyone have any suggestions for times, dates, places for a southern members meeting?
how about the first weekend in august, thats the 5th and 6th. plenty of warning. give me some suggestions for a venue. somewhere in hobart thats nice and central so we get some people turning up. ;D

Baskerville, Sunday the 13th of August? I might be racing if the car is log booked in time. Had its first inspection tuesday but there's a few things I have to fix so hopefully get them done this weekend. If I'm not there racing then I'll be there watching

I think our pre-season cricket trip has been organised for that weekend so I don't reckon I'll be able to come now. If I can make it I'll be in a white 1990 GSR turbo lancer.

I have just done the hillclimb course in the 240K, i might go and do it again thisafternoon! it would be better in something with a shorter wheelbase, like a 510 racer!
there is plenty of parking near the start (crossroads) and a few good corners close by. theres a ripper at the water tanks so we have options. if you are interested leave a post.

After some radical manoeuvering I have a 1600 up and running and rego runs out on Mon 11, will be there though not at all familiar with location, if you spot an ol Honey Brown thats me.

I stopped in briefly on the way home on sunday and had a quick look but didn't get to see 510racer on deane in action. How did yas go?
I saw Mick do a run but heard he'd had an altercation with a rock earlier in the day.
That WRX that was winning it was insane!

it was a good event, little blue escort was off its nut. there could have been more dattos, but the ones that were there put in a great effort. some great vehicles, mostly not italian . sigma with a 265 hemi was an eye opener, but you could tell it had a huge lump of iron in the front when it went round a corner.

You're right about that Sigma datsunreal. Looked to have plenty of power but a slight problem with getting it to the ground!
I'll have a look at the video when I get home deane, what time did you get?
