hey, my 120y's battery keeps going flat. At first i just thought the battery was rooted so i replaced that, although within say a week the new battery was dead aswell. i also noticed the positive lead was pretty haggard so i replaced that thinking that was the problem and charged the new battery back up but i was flat again in a few days. i havent tested the alternator yet. but i am wondering is it most likely the alternator brushes or something like that or is the alternator just completely shagged? If so would anyone have a good A-series alternator for sale? Any help would be much appreciated. cheers. Zak.

Sounds like the alternator. does the dash light come on?
Replace the brushes.

is it going flat whilst not in use? or is it only when you are driving it around ( starting it, using the headlights etc etc)??
