Have you made any further progress with the diff Datsunreal or has Cedric been taking up all your time?

Post by Datsunreal on Aug 17, 2007 11:48:56 GMT 10
eeh yes priorities are
1) cedric to move under its own power
2) A14 in the 120y
3) fuel system upgrade for 240k
then ill think about the diff, i think i can use R32 short nose vlsd flange type outputs instead of the CV shafts. then redrill the flange and put studs in it for crappy old UV joint shafts. i will need the shorter half shaft from one side of an older R200 for this but thats further down the track.

A14 now fitted to the yellow peril ;D ;D heaps more torque and throttle response . trouble free conversion mostly. one thing thats never mentioned is the plate which forms the floor of the inlet mfold directly under the carby is a seperate bit and sticks to the exhaust mfold when you seperate the two. then it wont start because there is a dirty great hole in the inlet . bolt it on with lots of sealer and its ok.

That's a great idea Ridecutter. Patrol running gear and an L28 turbo in the Cedirc Wagon. You could tell people it was the first ever Stagea prototype. What do you think Datsunreal

thats right scando! you cant see the custom fold up shooting seat in the photo. i bolted a big bit of wood across the top of the wheel arches and bolted the seat to that. it folds forward to sit behind the front seat when not in use. perfect height to shoot over the padded bar on the roof. now i just need a gruesome hook rack to hang off the tailgate!

You need to bring it down to Judbury and thin out some of the wallabies. The other night I counted a dozen on the side of the road in about 200 metres!
