Well I this is my third car, Its a KE55 corolla hardtop with a 4k motor and celica wheels. The pics speak for themselves

ok since im having trouble logging in ill just continue as a guest. I baught the car about a year ago now with fucked paint and shithouse brakes. after fixing the brakes and fitting some celica steelies with 285/60/14 recaps I started thinking about engine upgrades as the 4k is no performance monster. I decided on the 4age, a 1.6L DOHC 16 valve motor which has 86kwts at the flywheel standard. Instead of buying an import motor for around $1000 I went to sydney and baught another KE55 hardtop with a 4age allready installed. I took this back to hobart when I begun stripping it and taking out the motor and everything else worth money. When everything was taken the other corolla was taken to the tip. A picture is below

lets continue, I baught the other corolla for $1000 and stripped it all. Unfortunatley the motor was automatic which I didnt want so I took the auto off/torque converter and baught a T-50 (5 spd gearbox), and a standard clutch and pressure plate, a flywheel was sourced from some other guy. With the motor/fuel system/brake upgrade/suspension upgrade ready to my blue corolla will be taken off the road just after chrissy to change motors. Ill put a few more pics in and leave it at that I reacon.

Well here we are again as a guest. This is the motor ready to go after some pain and polish. note the FULLY DRIFTY filter YO. the only mods to the engine will be cold air intake and some extractors with 2 inch zorst with resonator. I have some speedway cams but not sure if I can use them without flycut pistones. See what happens.

Well in terms of brakes and suspension the little corolla was treated to some monroe gas shocks for the rear with some 2 inch lowering blocks. The front struts are out of the white corolla and im not sure what have been done to them but they seem pretty stiff to me, they have some 2" lowered springs too. I have got some celica struts with monroe gas inserts and bendix untimate pads, the brake disks have been machined and the callipers rebuilt. These will go in when the conversion is being done most likely.

well christmas has come early for tom and im taking the 4k out but not without a comback tour. I rippped some wicked skids today. My comversion starts as of now.

Well tonight the 4k came out, but not without a fight. Took about an 2 hours from go to woah and its sitting peacefully in the garage now soaking in degreaser. This is with everything unhooked and almost ready to come out. The radiator is off getting the inlet/outlet changed, flushed and any leaks fixed The 4k is gone and banished to the carport untill someone who wants it takes it away. There she blows, poor thing never stood a chance. Will alyways hold a special place in my heart. PPFFFFFT
