Did a coulpe of rallys with Dwight Blachford in Elfs old 1600. The black one with the green and orange paint sploch stickers over it. he has a few navigators during his rallying time.

Count the 1600's!!! this was taken 94-95 ish at the Hellyer rally, ran around the Burnie area.

That would be the one one Blach brought it of Mr Elphinstone if I remember rightly. I did 3-4 rallys with him in it.

Funny that, That car from the windscreen back used to be my spare parts hack until Elph brought it and did it up. It was a rare 68 model, which are now all te rage for historic's.

Yeah that would be the one. I remember getting out of the car after a rally out around Latrobe and Frankford (rally finished at the horse track at Spreyton) one year and being covered in dust. The car had quite a few pin holes in the floors. We ended up cleaning the car out by going to the local car wash pulling out all the floor bungs and hitting the interior with the high pressure cleaner. Blachy ended up stripping the car and selling the parts. there was just a bit to much rust and work to do on the car to salavge the shell.
