Bluerat borrowed a exhaust system of a turbo subaru and this fooled the car into thinking it was a turbo thus he will go faster. Im sure everyone knows that if you put a turbo exhaust on a NA car it will make it go faster.

Ahh yes that makes sense. This would work the same as tricking a VC commodore into thinking it has a genIII in it by putting a HSV sticker on it which seems to be quite a popular modification.

The workmanship on my Cedric badges is fantastic, especially the " Cedric custom deluxe" which looks like stainless steel. and i have a choice of Datsun 2000 "wagon six" "personal six" or "super six" for the front gaurds and these ones are made of brass !
and im getting bitumen on the white kangaroo road! it even made the news with someone saying what a waste of money it was sealing a "road to nowhere" its not nowhere it leads to my place! so hopefully my cars will be cleaner now, and its not sealed all the way so theres still some gravel at my end.

Jesus Wombat, A subaru exhaust, wishful thinking.....No, in what can be described as a good old Hodgo moment, My muffler fell off half way through the 2nd run!! Lucky for me, one Steward's has a hearing problem, and the other does not want to get lost this year!! The event was a ripper, 45 entries, I slipped uner 40 seconds for the first time and knocked nearly a second off my PB...ye har!! Dont worry DatLTD I also got nailed be an Escort, pesky thing's....
Glad to hear you had a top day Scando, pole on your first race, must of been pretty cool!! It looks to be sitting on the track nice. Who was the scruffy bloke leaning on the car?? I'd of asked them to get off the paint work before the photo was taken!! Did the new rear spoiler make the difference? I bet your looking forward to Symmons now? If you want to sort out the other shonky driver, I could lend you the bull bar off the Cruiser! It will work a treat.
Gee the 1200 coupe sound's like a bargan!! 4's is pretty slippery!! and what's the story on the Yellow 1600??

The big question is did it go better or worse after the muffler fell off? I take it you've got the suspension sorted now then? A second over a 40 second hill climb is a lot of time! The car was much better but still has understeer on entry and oversteer on exit. I don't think we'll play round with the handling anymore now though because I'm only half a second from breaking the base time for Targa B which would put me into Targa A. The scruffy bloke leaning on the car needs a hair cut hey. I reckon the weight reduction would cut a second of my lap times It don't think the spoiler did a lot. I think the improvement in my times was from the noltec bushes and a nice new set of rubber. The bullbar would be great thanks but I don't think he's running the rest of the rounds so that's good. Definatly looking forward to Symmons now, found out the rear brakes were sticking on and causing my stopping problems in the long races so it'll be interesting to see what the old girl does when it's using all of its power properly!

Glad to hear your looking foward to the Plain's, you will need both your brakes and all the power you can muster!!! new rubber is always a good thing, what are you running Bridgstone 540's? When's the next round?? We'll be making a trip up the Histeric's in April if you are running then? I'm gettng a bit keen to run another clubday, better check the calander
As for the muffler, It just made more noise!! not power! The suspension changes made it oversteer, which is what It used to do, so I just drove it harder, warmed the tyres up longer(he,he) and try'd to get it off the line better.........
Gee I've seen it all now...Whitey entertaining Eric Bana on the news, what next.......
How's the head this morning Robbie???

Project Cherry Go-kart has hit a snag. Gearbox looks ok but engine looks knackered will have to see if I can still get the other engine(I cant contact owner). So Bluerat I may have to pass on the event. (I still havent even looked at my roster yet) .

Yep, I run 540's but I think they're being discontinued and going to a new model soon. What do you run? Power seemed good compared to the other cars in Targa B the other weekend so that's a good sign for Symmons. Just hope we can get these brakes sorted out. Symmons is on the 1st of April. I don't think my car would be eligible for any classes at the historics would it? I think I'll be heading to Symmons for a test run in a couple of weeks. I'll let you know when incase you feel like coming for a play.
Datsunltd, I was talking to YT yesterday and he told me the story of how yas got the Bluey onto the truck when you picked it up, was pretty funny.

I am the Phantom Hacker and I thought you would like to see what Wombat has secretly been up to. Those who are going to the NWCC Smithton Gokart day had best watch out. Dont let this fool you I have seen the engine and it is the snakes (Viper) guts. No longer think FWD think AWD. Beware the Phantom Hacker he knows what you do.

The Phantom hacker aayyy, that's not you Kelly is it??? Then again Wombat's pass word can't be that hard to work out???(Cherryripe,cherrypie,popmycherry,rwdsux,isecretlylove1600) That looks a lot like the pits at Oonah!!! I think I backed the Crusier into the big tree in the back gound...... Have I ever told you how much fun it is trying to get a Police permit??? no, well it looks like we might have to swap day's in Smithton, ie: Kart track Saturday, Hillclimb Sunday....not a problem, just a hassle. Tyres, mine are the mighty Silverstone S575's, Rippers. I had some 2nd hand 520's which were that old they used have spark's coming off them...Keep me up to date about the practice day! As for the Historic's I'm sure there was a 240Z Turbo built in upper Molgolia by the UMDDT(ie the Upper Mongolian Datsun Dealer Team) and raced by there world famous driver Peta Brockofski in 1971, in fact the upper Mongolian flag is bright green and flat black can only help your case, good luck....... Now Troy, dont give up that easy, you do have another one in the shed!! and Datsltd, any chance of seeing those photo's........

Datsunltd, I don't see him too often but I'll be sure to mention it next time I'm talking to him. Are the Silverstone S575 the ones that are so soft they can lay rubber down driving normally in a straight line? I just e-mailed Dick and he said Symmons is available for private practice on the 24th of March so I reckon I'll head up there then. I'll let you know for sure closer to the date though. I got all the results from round 1 of the series yesterday. Mick ended up 2nd in targa C and the yellow 1600 ended up 3rd. The blue 1200 was running 2nd before it stopped in the final. So a good day all round for datsuns I'd best go now. Gotta go see if I can find where I put that damn Mongolian log book that came with the car when I bought it!

There are a couple of different compounds for the 'stones, I've got the mediums, but will buy some super softs soon for hillclimbs. So what's in the yellow 1600 and what sort of times is it doing?? Is it worth me getting a legal cage and having a run?? 24th of March is Smithton....oh well next time. I wish this computer had one of those drawing programs, I was going to draw up an upper Mongolian Flag.....Mate, if you have got a log book and it is a GENUINE Brockofski you are sitting on a fortune.....If you took it back to Mongolia, you could proberly get up to 34 Yak's for it.....wicked
