I'm not too worried about it, hasn't been a problem so far. Great way to save money for the Z too It's going to kill me for insurance though!

When's the next Octogen round, and whats the go with the donk, I've experienced a couple of very quick LS-1's recently, hhmmm a man could get turned to the dark side very easily!! You could fit one between the Zed's towers very easily!! $3500 and no more head gaskit problems, silly turbo lag, soryy, sorry I'm getting carried away.....where's that measuring tape???
Why an SU manafold Datsreal?? make it sound good and buy a Bologna product !!

It is a long walk to work but luckily my neighbour drives past everyday. I dunno about Ben Cousins but all my mates have been calling me Paris lately.
The engine was still smokey at the last round even with the new turbo seals and the officials said I had best do something about it before the next round. We've found it's blow by from a score up the side of the no.6 cylinder. We knew the block was dodgey when we put it in but it was only ever going to be a cheap temporary fix.
I bought a P90 head off one of Kelvin's pit crew and I just went and got an F54 block of Mick yesterday. A set of forged pistons should arrive from the US in 6 weeks. Just hope they make it here in time to get it all back together and running again before the next round! Should be a decent thing if it all comes together ok.

Bluerat i like SU's theyre great for fuel economy. i tune both webers and SU's for other datto owners, and i dont think id like the italian jobs for my daily driver . plus they are expensive! 38mm jap SU's are readily avaliable and simple to tune. simple with my flowmeter and colourtune which i only get to use on other peoples cars thesedays! has anybody ever seen a colourtune? i seem to have one of the only ones in existance.= high temp glass spark plug, see the mixture burning inside the engine. great for variable jets (SU, Stromberg) and for taming the idle of bolognas. its amazing how many twin carb dattos set up at great expense run like dogs until they come to visit!

Scando, sounds like your getting a little serious, good to see. Are the slugs a lot cheaper out of the US?? I hope they turn up!! From my experience it's alway's better to pay for the more expensive post!! Who was Kelvin's pit crew?? Look's like Mr.Bailey didn't have such a good weekend at Eastern creek??
Datsreal, the colourtune sound's like a great thing! will it work with two strokes??? My dislike of the SSS carb's come from the dark old day's of PRC rally cars when you had to run them, they made us pull the Webers off. The fastest PRC 1600 at the time won a couple of class championships, and some very impressive Outright results with a Std carb rather than the Twin's. His Dad was the local carby whiz, and could get more power and drivability from the single than the twins, Mind you It could have had something to do with the driver!, he's gone on to win 3 State Rally championships!!! Thinking about it, and knowing the guy, the Std Carby was proberly not real Std!!!! aannyyway, I wont stand in your way, and I'm sure you will get them working a treat!! I'd love to see the Colourtune in action.

The slugs aren't cheaper out of the US. It's just the only place we can get them! Tried several places and they all said that they would have to get them custom made in the US. I thought there might be places over there that have an off the shelf item since the L28ET was sold there but apparently not. Hopefully it should punch out about the same power as what it has now without any problems. Should also be a good base to get a lot more power in the future if I decide I need it Kelvin's pitcrew was Michael Tyson...........No he hasn't started bringing body guards to the track, different Mike Tyson Kerry was actually pretty happy after Eastern Creek. The end result wasn't good but he was happy just to be challenging Ricciardello again. He's had Seton helping him out a bit lately and I think it's made a massive difference.

sure thing mate. are u in hobart? if you can make it to campania thats good but i might do a house call. i trust the rest of it is in working order plugs,points, ign timing etc and the linkage is good, (every weber linkage seems to be different and made by crazy people) itl cost you a 6 pack cascade (no boags please) ill send you a pm re contact details

G'day guy's,
We've had some laptop problems lately, but were back on!!! My plans for Baskerville this weekend has been put on hold, as my poor old exhaust is coming apart again, and it looks like I've got some chassis dramas, which I'd like to get fixed before I run It again. Oh well next time!!!
Datsreal if you get a chance, check out Boosts Carby linkage's, there a ripper, genuine Weber I think!, mines Gen..u..ine Leeroy built, so you know it's good!

I think the only cars that drown in the flood down my neck of the woods were a falcon and a corolla. Somebody found a complete Chicken Shed several k's from where it was supposed to be. A couple of horses went down the river too (don't let Mrs Bluerat read this Hodgo)apparently the owner will be getting a visit from the RSPCA .

Talking about ex works rally cars, do any of the 120Y nutter's out there know of the PB210 twin cam 1.6l works rallycars?? I'd love to know some more.
I popped into Baskerville today for a quick look. Mick seemed to be having a good day in the 240Z. Does anybody own the light green 1600 with SI plates, looked pretty cool. Altough he is an active member of the NWCC, I've never seen young Housey in action in the SR20 powered Integra Sports Sedan, what a weapon!! they told me he was getting down to 55-56 sec lap's and the slick's were still cold!! the shift point is well above 9000rpm, fantastic. I'm very keen to get down for a run now!! I better check my roster.
Hey Boost it looks like I'll be at Symmons next weekend, you still having a run??
The Mrs had already heard about the poor Gee Gee's
