Cool, I just logged off and you got the hattrick. Did you see my brother there? he had the yellow and green hat on?? No?
Had a look at your new brakes today in Smithton, 14.5 inch discs, six spot Brembo's on the front, and four spot Brembo's on the back!!! The front calipers look like a size 12 Boot!! and a Billet pedal's ands pedal box!! trick or what!

Ahh yes, the bloke in the yellow and green hat, I know exactly who you're talking about. I saw him everywhere I went 14.5 inch discs! I wonder if 19's would fit under the Z I got the sup regs for round 1 of the series last night. Nev was right, it's been moved to the 25th.

Much left to do Scando? A month gives you plenty of time.....
I've just started pulling the engine out of the orange 1600......It's been under the trees for 2 years, and only been started once in four years, and started up straight away!! amazing.... everything is in working order and just needs swapping over. ripper...

Dattas is right there. The only time I've managed to kill one so far was when I let my R30 get low on oil and it got surge and did a main bearing. It had done 550,000 K's though!
Just gotta get the strut brace built and get the bushes into the front end of the old girl and that's about it. Keep finding more to do as we go though, same old story. Looking towards a test run on the 11th or 18th of Feb.

Soft, I've blown a couple over the years!! Rod out through the bottom of the sump, and lumps of piston everywhere was the end of my first 2ltr. A small crack in the oil pressure gauge line, seized the mighty 1800...Got an electric gauge now! and just plain wore it out after the re-build, filling the oil catch tank after every run at Barrington a few years ago.....
I better get on to these brakes and get to the LCCT clubday on the 4th...
18th is Rally Tas weekend, looks like an excellent field 3 1600's, 2 240Z's, the Callinan's Pantera, one BDA MK1 Escort and Coad's big bad Orange HQ Monaro.

How some you guys get all the road rallys and we only get to see Targa? It's not fair Rod through the sump sounds like a nice effort. I haven't had any big car engine destructions. Made a nice mess of quite a few kart engines though Gotta love the unreliability of air cooled 2 strokes.

Amazing what a difference a morning will make!! Yeah, I've pushed a few blown dirt bikes over the years, and popped my chainsaw a couple of month ago.....geezz you would never lend me anyhing after this!! yet your still better off with the mighty 2 stroke, over a dodgy 4 stroke! Guess who got a digital camera for Christmas???

Motors are picky bastards aren't they dattas, a bit of water never hurt anybody I was wondering what was going on with all the photos all of a sudden Bluerat. So when are we going to get some close ups of the good 1600, engine bay, etc? Amazing what a bit of paint can do! That come up awesome.

Sorry, dont know much about the above, sounds like a hell of a combo!!
There's some bits missing from my engine bay at the moment, but i'll take a photo soon...
Got a good lead on my ongoing brake woe's....I'll give a report after some testing, hopefully it might be fixed. Are you Ready for Baskerville yet Scando??
Did any one check out the LCCT's Mountain Challange last year (Nov,Dec??) I saw some photo's and there looked to be some cool Datto's running! How did Curley end up in the GTR? Who own's the red, white and blue 1200 coupe?? looks like a fun event!

That would definatly be an interesting toy. Who's is it? Not another one sitting in your paddock is it? I'm pretty much ready for baskerville I think. All the main jobs are finished so just doing little odds and ends now. I've gotta deposit some money into a guys account tomorrow so that he'll send me a BRE rear wing to put on I'll take it for a test run in the next 2 or 3 weeks to make sure everything has worked. Good luck with the brakes, hope it works. Where is the LCCT mountain challenge held?

Looks like something out of my paddock....Naa it was on e-bay last year, there's 3 or 4 of them out there cool aye. Where a Rover is good a Rodeck is better!! BRE had all the good stuff...should be worth a couple of seonds a lap??
Mountain Challange, like all good things, was held north of Oatlands, he, he...It was like a Duttons Rally, Khana's, hillclimbs(?), lap sprints etc and a bit a navigation thrown in for good measure. Boost might know a bit more. Get some plates on the Z and I'll navagate for you this year. I can get lost with the best of them.
Doing anything cool for the long weekend, anyone? I'll bring you back a trout from the lakes.

Yeah m8 from what i understand it was at the plains Saturday, lake barrington Sunday and Ledgerwood on Monday of the November long weekend and from what i hear it will be a little better organized this year as you would expect with some experience under their belts although everyone that i have talked to had a ball and will be doing it again this year including myself.
