Boost, great to hear you'll be able to spend some time on the Dattos again soon.
Trackspec, how do you find the Haltech E6K on the bluey? I've bought a 2nd hand E6S to replace the F9 on the Z.
I'm currently giving the old girl a tidy up. She's getting another passenger door to replace the rust infested one that's on there. Also getting the dent i got in the passenger side front guard at round 1 fixed and the front spoiler and bonnet resprayed to get rid of the masses of stone chips.

whats that F9 doing now? gathering dust? needs a new home? I'll hold onto it until I get the E6S installed and I'm happy with it. After that I'd be happy to sell it to you

You have a couple of weeks to go tracspec......If you cant run and want to come up for a look give me a PM I should have a spare seat in the Cruiser.
Sounds like Baldrick had a 'well rounded day.....' Mr Coupe, I also heard a well known Orange car had a 'moment' on the last transport??
If you like 'race'n' then don't miss the Tarmac Challange', the old Rallye Burnie, in a couple of weeks, it is both a Tarmac Rally and a round of the Aust Rally Championship, It will be real interesting which bunch of 'sicko's' is the quickest. Send me a PM if you want a really good seat to watch from.

Me again, I've had a good week, the 4.4 is together and in, I love the r160, you can almost lift them in 1 handed, but I had to dig out some r160 half shafts, of the ten I had, only 2 were any good, lucky.....Also inspired by a mates WRX I had the dash in the road rat covered in black swade (Is that how it is spelt??) and it came up a treat!! I also replaced the rear wheel cylinders in the racer and a couple of dodgy brake lines, It just needs a good bleed, a spanner check and a wash and we are ready to go.
It looks like Scando had a good weekend at Baskerville, dropping into the 60's
Whats everybody else up tooooo

Good move on replacing the dodgey brake lines. Watched Finlayson loose all brakes fair in front of me in his evo yesterday at around 200km/h due to a brake line popping out of a calliper. Apparently it was still doing over 100km/h when it hit the tyre barrier sideways and somehow managed to get away with cosmetic damage! Got it fixed good enough to race and drove from the back of the grid in the final in the wet to take the win!!!

The gravel hillclimb 'Coupe will be run under the same rules as a tarmac one, execpt its on Gravel...only one person in the car, you dont need rego, anything can run, including buggies as long as it is safe and passes Scrut, it's on a ripper of a road, very smooth, lots of corners, it will be a magic event, dont miss it.
I'll be looking after the Gorge on Sat, Motty will be the the man on Sunday, come and give us a hand Ade, it would be great to catch up, and your only 10mins drive from my house.....Oh yeah the same orange car will be on the TARMAC............

I heard a rumer that Kelvin has built a new 'Pintara based' hillclimb weapon that also involves a lot of GTR bits.......and is running the Gravel event as a warm up....look out!!

Tracspec, Yeah I'll be running, come on up for a look it should get you all inspired for next year!!
Scando, not all the bits, but he worked out if he used late model Front wheel drive Bluebird uprights, he could of used everything!!
'Coupe I'm sure the highlight of your weekend would of been seeing a 80 Series cruiser doing a reverse burnout?? No?

Tracspec, the next event for the NWCC is the Gravel Hillclimb on the 15th of Nov, then the Tarmac Hillclimb at Highcleare on the 6th of Dec, which is the last round of the Black tack series and the State Hillclimb series, then the following Friday night is the mighty Dinner with 5 times Australian Rally Champ Ross Dunkerton as Guest speeker along with Mozza as Mc. It all starts again on the 31st of Jan 09 with a Khanacross.....
So what needs finishing off with the Bluebird?? You should come along to Highcleare and see how things are run, what we look for at Scrut and how the day works, plus it's usually a top days entertainment!!
Well the Clubday ended up well, after a few problems in the morning etc with the car, But I ended up going a little over a second quicker with a 1.10.58...It was great to catch up with Boost and Baldrick again, hopefully we will see them out on the track sooooon. Any photos of the youngfella's Pulsar Boost??
